Michael Fornaris is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator currently working as Clinical Nutrition Manager with the Department of Veteran Affairs. He has over a decade of experience in the nutrition field, specializing in weight management, diabetes control, prediabetes, and metabolic syndrome.
In his role at the VA, Michael provides outpatient nutrition counseling to veterans interested in weight loss and chronic disease management. He also precepts dietetic interns, works on process improvement projects, and conducts nutrition assessments for inpatient veterans.
